Chairman
Mr. Biodun L. Dosunmu is a Non-Executive Director at Lasaco Assurance Plc, bringing over 30 years of exceptional experience in the financial services sector, with a strong focus on insurance and investment management. Renowned for his operational excellence, strategic acumen, and commitment to fostering sustainable growth, he has made significant contributions to the industry throughout his illustrious career. An alumnus of the University of Lagos, Akoka, Mr. Dosunmu holds a bachelor’s degree in insurance, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and a Master of Science degree in Marketing. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. A Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN) since 2008, he possesses deep expertise in corporate governance, strategic planning, and risk management. Currently, Mr. Dosunmu serves as the Managing Director/CEO of Ontop Insurance Brokers Limited, a role he has held since 2021. In this capacity, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving innovation and business growth. Prior to his current role, Mr. Dosunmu was the Executive Director overseeing Finance, IT, and Operations at Lagos Building Investment Company (LBIC). During his tenure, he led transformative initiatives that significantly reduced operational costs, boosted customer deposits, and enhanced efficiency through process automation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dosunmu held various leadership positions at Lasaco Assurance Plc, culminating in his appointment as Executive Director. Among his many achievements, he facilitated the successful merger of Lasaco Life and Lasaco General, which resulted in notable growth. Mr. Dosunmu’s areas of expertise span corporate governance, financial strategy, risk management, business development, and process optimization. He is recognized for his ability to foster innovation, streamline operations, and drive organizational transformation. In addition to his corporate achievements, Mr. Dosunmu is a dedicated contributor to the development of the insurance industry. He has served as an examiner for Insurance Law at the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and is a member of the Institute of Directors. Mr. Biodun L. Non Executive Director
Razzaq Abiodun is the MD/CEO of LASACO Assurance Plc. He has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry spanning claims, reinsurance, underwriting and marketing. He began his insurance career with City Union Insurance Company where he rose to the position of Deputy Manager, Claims/Reinsurance. He was also a Senior Manager at Metropolitan Trust Insurance Company (now Consolidated Hallmark). Abiodun also worked in WAPIC Insurance Plc where he was an Assistant General Manager, before his appointment as pioneer Managing Director of WAPIC Insurance (Ghana) Ltd. Abiodun holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University and a Graduate of Law, LLB from the Ghana Institute of Professional Studies (GIMPA). Abiodun is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of United Kingdom. In 2012, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana.

Mr Olumide Jayeola holds Masters of Project Management: University of Lagos [2010], Bachelors of Science [Honours] in Estate Management: University of Lagos [1990], Bachelors of Law [Honours]: Lagos State University [2001] was admitted into the Nigerian Bar as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria [2003] and Bachelors of Theology: L.I.F.E. Theological Seminary [2012], Lagos. Mr Jayeola is an Associate of The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers, Registered Member; Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria, Associate Member: Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (Nigeria & UK), a certified Member: Project Management Institute (Pennsylvania- USA) and a member of The Nigerian Bar Association. He has had several professional experience and practice which cut across wide areas of Project Management & Development, Project Investment Appraisal & Financing, Property Valuation & Appraisal, Mortgage Appraisal & Documentation, Property Ratings & Tax Assessments, Legal Drafting & Documentations, Commercial & Business Agreements. Mr Jayeola had worked and held these past positions: Head of Ratings/Agency /Valuation: Diya, Fatimilehin & Co. [1990-1993], General Manager: Olatunde Adeyemo & Associates [1993-1994], General Manager/CEO: Caxton Nigeria Limited [1994-2004], General Manager: Real Estate: Modandola Investment Limited [2005-2006], Project Manager/ Registrar of Titles/ Legal Adviser: UACN Property Development Co. Plc. [2006 – 2008], CEO- Elizabeth & Hillary Ltd 2008 – 2012. Jayeola joined Lasaco in 2012 as General Manager/CEO, Lasaco Properties Ltd; a full subsidiary of Lasaco Assurance Plc and in 2022 the office was upgraded to MD/CEO of a fully autonomous entity Mr Jayeola is an ardent believer in the rule of corporate governance, best practices in professional service deliverables, and good public & customer relations for business sustainable growth and have attended several executive trainings within Nigeria and outside Nigeria Mr Jayeola who is a recipient of Prof. I.O. Smith Academic Award for BEST STUDENT in Legal Drafting and Conveyance [2001], Faculty of Law, Lagos State University is married to Funmilola; a Pastor in Foursquare Gospel Church and they are blessed with 4-Children. Mr Jayeola is also ordained as a Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, and has held several positions in the Foursquare organisations at a time: Christian Education Ministry, Church Secretary in Foursquare Gospel Church, Akowonjo District Headquarters, An Assistant Pastor, was a pioneer pastor at Foursquare Gospel Church, Adura Parish under the Akowonjo District and he presently posted to Foursquare Gospel Church, Lekki District Headquarters.
